Pastor Eric
My family moved to North Carolina in 2014 from Hartsville, SC where I worked in the fields of education and counseling. I've served in the Marine Corps and as a missionary in Okinawa, Japan.
About Eric
I am a graduate of two schools: Liberty University (BS in English Education, MA in Counseling, and EdS in Educational Leadership & Administration) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv in Christian Ministries). I am blessed to be married to my wife Kris now for 19 years. We have two wonderful daughters, Vik and Tryna, and I love watching them grow up.

I served as the head pastor of Bunn Baptist Church before beginning my bivocational ministry at Samaria Baptist Church in 2023 as the Children/Youth minister, and at Wake Christian Academy. My passion in ministry is found in the words Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 11:1: "Follow me as I follow Chirst". I take that responsibility seriously and strive to keep Paul’s words in front of the Samaria Baptist Family as I seek to "Love God, love people, and make disciples.”
