Kathy Merrill
Kathy grew up in Samaria Baptist Church and has always had a love for God’s music. Throughout jr. high and high school, she sang with the youth choir at Samaria (The Young Samaritans). As time went on, she later joined the Adult Choir and was Youth Sunday School Teacher at Samaria.
About Kathy
Kathy was elected the part-time Music Director at Samaria in 2012. In addition to leading the Adult Choir, she also works with individuals in preparing special music. Kathy loves serving alongside the people at Samaria in music and worship.​
She has been married to Michael since Jan 2020, and she has two grown daughters and two young grandsons.
One of Kathy’s favorite Bible passages is Colossians 3:16-17:
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
